# A SurveyMonkey alternative for one-off surveys and AI workflows

SurveyMonkey is an enterprise research platform. If you run a research
program — buying respondent panels, benchmarking against industry data,
digging through advanced analytics, pulling from question banks, sharing
across a team — it's the right tool, and this post won't talk you out of it.

But most people searching for a SurveyMonkey alternative aren't running a
research program. They need **one survey, today**: a feedback form after an
event, a quick pulse check, an intake questionnaire. For that, an enterprise
seat is overkill, and the per-response caps on the cheap tiers have a way of
cutting you off right when responses start arriving.

## The one-off survey, done differently

QuizGen is a headless survey/form service built to be driven by AI
assistants. Instead of opening a builder, you describe the survey in one
sentence to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor. The assistant reads

  answers, since it can read them back too.
- **Webhooks.** Point completed responses at your own endpoint, with an
  HMAC signature to verify.

## What QuizGen doesn't do

Honesty matters in a comparison post, so: QuizGen has **no panel or
audience buying** — you bring your own respondents. There's **no benchmark
data** to compare your results against, **no advanced analytics** beyond
basic stats and raw response export, and it's a **single-user product
today** — no team seats, roles, or shared workspaces.
