# QuizGen — Ask for a quiz. Get a link.

QuizGen (https://quizgen.dev) turns a sentence into a live, hosted quiz or
form. Tell your AI assistant what you want to ask people; it POSTs JSON to the
QuizGen API and hands back a short link like https://quizgen.dev/q/x7km2p.
Every answer comes back in one place — a dashboard for humans, JSON for agents.

## How it works

1. **Connect** — add https://quizgen.dev/mcp as a custom connector in Claude
   or ChatGPT (or `claude mcp add` in Claude Code / Codex), then authorize
   QuizGen in the browser window that opens. Once authorized, quizzes are
   permanent and your assistant can list them, read responses, and pull stats.
2. **Ask** — say what you want to ask people. A sentence is enough.
3. **Read** — skim answers in the dashboard, export CSV, or ask your assistant
   "how's the quiz going?"

No MCP support in your client? The paste-a-prompt fallback still works — give
your assistant this line once: "Use quizgen.dev to build me a quiz — read
quizgen.dev/llms.txt first, then make it and send me the link." That path
creates a 72-hour sandbox quiz (10 responses max) with a private claim link;
open the claim link after a free signup to keep it.

## What people make
