An AI quiz generator that ends with a link, not a wall of text.
Most “AI quiz generators” write questions you still have to rebuild somewhere else. QuizGen plugs into the AI you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor — so when you say “make me a 10-question quiz on chapter 3”, what you get back is a live, hosted quiz page you can send to anyone. The answers come back to one dashboard, or straight into the same chat.
Connect https://quizgen.dev/mcp in Claude or ChatGPT, authorize in the browser, and you're set — sign up free for 3 live quizzes, no card. No MCP in your client? Paste this line instead:
The paste route needs no account: it makes a 72-hour sandbox quiz (10 responses) with a private claim link you can open later to keep it.
How it works
- 1. Connect once. Add https://quizgen.dev/mcp as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT and authorize QuizGen in the browser window. (No MCP? Paste the setup line above instead — the assistant reads the docs itself.)
- 2. Describe the quiz. Topic, number of questions, scoring, tone — a sentence or a whole chapter of notes, either works.
- 3. Share the link. Your assistant sends back a quizgen.dev link. Mobile-friendly, autosaving, scored automatically if you asked for grading.
- 4. Read the answers. A dashboard table, a CSV export — or just ask your assistant “how'd everyone do?”
Common questions
How is this different from asking ChatGPT to write a quiz?
ChatGPT alone gives you text you still have to rebuild in Google Forms or Typeform. With QuizGen connected, your AI creates an actual hosted quiz page at a quizgen.dev link — questions, scoring, progress bar, autosave — and every answer is collected for you.
Do the people answering need an account?
No. Respondents just open the link. It works on phones, saves their place if they leave, and takes no sign-up.
Can it score the quiz automatically?
Yes — point values per answer and outcome buckets ("qualified", "which type are you", pass/fail) with a custom result screen or redirect per outcome.
What kinds of quizzes can it make?
Graded knowledge checks, personality quizzes, client intake forms, lead-qualification forms, RSVPs with caps and close dates, and plain surveys. Anything you'd build in a form tool, one sentence instead.
How much does it cost?
Free for 3 live quizzes with 100 answers each per month, no card. $15/mo when people start answering seriously and you want your own colours, logo and email sending. $49/mo adds taking payment inside the quiz.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Any assistant that can read a web page and make an HTTP request: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, and most agent tools. There's also a plain REST API and an npx scaffolder for developers.
