What animal am I?

12 questions, 8 possible animals, about 2 minutes. No signup, no email gate — your answers stay in your browser and the result is yours to share or quietly deny.

12 questions. 8 animals. 1 of them is you.

Answer honestly — the animal already knows. Takes about 2 minutes, and your answers never leave this page.

What the quiz actually measures

Underneath the animals are four real dimensions: where your energy comes from (people or solitude), how you react when a plan collapses (rally, improvise, or shrug), how you hand out attention (freely or by invitation only), and how urgent life feels to you on an ordinary Tuesday. Each of the 12 questions pushes points toward one or two animals, and the highest total wins.

The eight results — wolf, dolphin, owl, golden retriever, cat, octopus, eagle, capybara — were picked because each one describes a pattern people recognize instantly in themselves and, more dangerously, in their friends. It isn't science and doesn't pretend to be. It's a mirror with fur.

Common questions

How does the quiz decide which animal I am?

Every answer adds points toward one or two of the eight animals — a primary match and a lighter secondary one. After 12 questions the animal with the most points wins. The questions probe four things: where your energy comes from, how you handle plans falling apart, how you give attention to people, and how ambitious you feel like being about any of it.

Is this scientifically valid?

No, and any animal quiz that claims otherwise is fibbing. It's a consistent trait mapping, not psychometrics — the same answers always produce the same animal, and each animal describes a recognizable pattern of real behavior. Treat it the way you'd treat a good horoscope written by someone who actually knows you.

Do you store my answers?

No. The whole quiz runs in your browser — no account, no email gate, and your answers are never sent anywhere. The only thing that leaves the page is the share link, if you choose to send it, and that contains just your result animal, not your answers.

Can I share my result?

Yes — the share button copies a link with your animal in it, so when a friend opens it they see your result first (the link preview even says what you got), then take the quiz themselves. That's the whole fun of it: the quiz spreads one 'no way, I got Capybara' text at a time.

What animals can I get?

Eight: wolf, dolphin, owl, golden retriever, cat, octopus, eagle, and capybara. Each maps to a distinct combination of social energy, decision style, and chill. Yes, the capybara result is the rarest kind of flex.
