A few things to know
Can I make a Secret Santa draw without email?
Yes. Enter names and share the individual links yourself. No one needs to create an account or provide an email address.
Do I need an account to save the exchange?
No. Your exchange is saved on the server. The management link is your access key for returning, editing details, and copying participant links. Save it: there is no account-based recovery.
Can couples avoid drawing each other?
Add an exclusion and keep “both directions” checked. If the rules make a draw impossible, we’ll ask you to adjust them rather than ignore a rule.
Who can see the assignments?
Each private link reveals one assignment. Anyone holding that link can open it, including the organizer who distributes all the links. Keep links private.
Can I redraw or change the guest list?
You can redraw from your management page. This invalidates every old participant link, so you must send everyone a new one. A new draw can repeat some previous pairings. To change names or exclusions, create a new exchange.
Can people add gift ideas?
Yes. After opening their draw, each participant can add up to three gift ideas with optional product links. Their Secret Santa can see these suggestions through their own private link. Ideas are optional and stay with participants after a redraw.
How long do the links last?
They expire 90 days after your exchange date, or 180 days after creation if no date is set, with a one-year maximum. We show the exact date. You can also delete the exchange sooner.
What if I lose my link?
Ask your organizer to re-copy your participant link. The organizer’s management link is the only way to manage the exchange; without it, we cannot recover access. Save it somewhere safe.
