Claude MCP servers for building quizzes and forms

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard that lets Claude call real tools instead of just writing text about them. A "quiz builder MCP server" or "form builder MCP server" is one that gives Claude the ability to actually create a live, hosted quiz or form — not a description of one you'd still have to build yourself. Add it to Claude

Claude Desktop / Claude Code: add a remote MCP server pointing at https://quizgen.dev/mcp. It's streamable HTTP and stateless — no install, no local process to run.

claude.ai connectors: add the same URL as a custom connector. Claude opens a browser window to authorize QuizGen — sign in (or sign up free) and the connection is linked to your account. From then on every quiz it creates is permanent and the read-back tools work.

What it can do

The server exposes create_quiz plus read-back tools for listing your quizzes, checking responses, and pulling stats. Run check_account (formerly check_api_key) to confirm the connection is live and see your plan's headroom. Each tool's input schema embeds the full quiz format, so Claude doesn't need to fetch any docs separately before using it.

Auth: authorized vs. not

• Not authorized: create_quiz makes a sandbox quiz — live instantly, expires in 72 hours, capped at 10 responses, can't be updated or read back. Claude gets a claim_url back and should hand it to you along with the quiz link — opening it signs you up free and keeps the quiz.
• Authorized (the browser OAuth step when you connect): quizzes are permanent, and the list/get/responses/stats tools all work. There's never a reason to paste an API key into a chat — keys exist only for server-to-server REST integrations.
