AI form builder: how it actually works

"AI form builder" mostly means one of two different things, and it's worth knowing which one you're looking at before you pick a tool.

Type 1: AI as a head start inside a builder

Most tools with an "AI" button use it to pre-fill a draft — it guesses some fields or questions, drops them into the normal drag-and-drop editor, and you still finish the form by hand: arranging fields, setting validation, styling it. The AI saves you a blank page, not the building step itself.

Type 2: AI as the whole build step
